About the Program
The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Sciences (ISCI) appeals to students who are currently working in a variety of scientific fields including, healthcare, information technology, lab sciences, or science-related businesses. Students who have completed prior coursework in life and physical sciences, business, mathematics, or social and behavioral science can transfer up to 90 credits and earn credit for prior learning with approval. Graduates of the program use their skills to connect ideas and concepts to solve problems from an interdisciplinary perspective in a wide variety of careers and fields, such as environmental studies, health professions, lab sciences, or computer programming.

Morgan Completes You includes eight (8) interdisciplinary undergraduate degrees focused on integrating real-world experience with academic and professional skills required for the future of work. Every interdisciplinary degree program in the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies (CICS) supports these broad educational learning goals:
- Integrate knowledge and methodologies from multiple disciplines to develop a comprehensive understanding of complex issues and problems.
- Exhibit effective communication skills to convey interdisciplinary concepts and ideas to diverse audiences, both in written, oral, and digital formats.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze, evaluate, and address real-world challenges across various disciplines.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse teams, demonstrating cultural competency, adaptability, and interpersonal skills in interdisciplinary settings.
Interdisciplinary Sciences Degree Learning Outcomes
By the end of this degree program, all students will be able to:
- Apply scientific principles and methodologies across various scientific disciplines to address complex problems.
- Develop a holistic understanding of the interconnectedness of scientific disciplines.
- Assess the validity and reliability of scientific data and research findings.
- Evaluate the implications of scientific discoveries on society, environment, and policy.
