About the Program
Our rapidly changing global environment needs thinkers and doers capable of handling constantly emerging challenges. As our society faces increasingly complex legal and social concerns such as aging populations, environmental and health-care dilemmas, ineffective educational systems and homelessness, we turn to those who can handle our global village's rapid changes.
What it's all about:
The B.A. in Policy, Politics and International Affairs program is far from a traditional political science program; instead, it combines public administration, public policy, political theory, comparative government and international relations. You'll learn to apply analytical skills to national and global problems of the 21st century.
You can prepare for a career in:
- federal, state and local government
- the foreign service
- campaign management
- health administration
- public and private organizations that monitor or influence political processes or public policy.
Flexible options:
Students can complete their upper-level major requirements for the B.A. in Policy, Politics and International Affairs fully online, in-person, or a combination of both. Some qualified transfer students may be able to complete the requirements for this bachelor’s degree entirely online. (NOTE: Coursework outside of the major may not be offered online.)
