About the Program

A major in health services management can provide you with grounding in the core knowledge and competencies for effective management in the dynamic healthcare environment, teaching you to think comprehensively and strategically about healthcare trends so you can lead innovation. It is ideal for entry-level and midcareer professionals. 

The bachelor of science in health services management requires the successful completion of 120 credits of coursework:
  • 41 credits in general education requirements 
  • 33 credits for the major; 18 of these credits must be earned in upper-level courses
  • 46 credits in the minor, electives and other degree requirements.
This major includes 6 credits of required related coursework that may be used to satisfy the general education requirements or electives.
